LEGALLY BLONDE - THE MUSICAL Opens June 15th

Center Stage Jackson is pleased to announce the opening of its summer production, Legally Blonde – The Musical, to be performed June 15-17 and 22-24, 2012 in the Baughman Theatre, Potter Center, at Jackson Community College. Curtain times are 8:00 p.m. on Friday and Saturday Performances, 3:00 p.m. on Sundays.

The story:  Legally Blonde – The Musical is a fresh and vibrant musical adaptation of the novel by Amanda Brown and the hit film of the same name, which starred Reese Witherspoon as the lead character, Elle Woods.  Sorority star Elle does not take "no" for an answer.  When her boyfriend dumps her for someone “serious,” Elle puts down the credit card, hits the books, and sets out to go where no Delta Nu has gone before: Harvard Law.  Along the way, Elle proves that being true to yourself never goes out of style.

Heading the cast is Mary Krzesicki as Elle.  Also starring Chip Mezo as Emmett, Leslie Bradley, Carly Brake and Carly Jacobs as the Delta Nu Greek Chorus, Lisa Yikimoff as Paulette, Todd Lutz as Kyle, Timm Richardson as Professor Callahan, Adam Woolsey as Warner, Andrea Wynn as Vivienne, Alexa Van Buren as Brooke and Megan Edwards as Enid.

Artistic Director and Musical Conductor is Bradley Jayne, with Vocal Direction and Choreography by Chip Mezo.  Producer is Ann Holt, Technical Director is Dean Weber and Stage Manager is Amanda Mahoney. Center Stage Jackson is Jackson’s community theatre group.
