Different from regular plays in that actors perform with scripts in hand, with minimal set, props, and blocking. An excellent choice for actors that want to get their feet wet on stage and/or do not have a lot of time to devote to a full show. There are only a few rehearsals and one performance. All Center Stage Jackson Staged Readings are currently FREE to the public and held at several locations in the Jackson community.
An annual, themed cabaret showcasing talent in Jackson County with minimal rehearsals. Depending on the theme and director, these are typically open to adult singers only but may have some opportunity for young adults.
Auditions are typically held in February or March.
Join us at Sandhill Crane Winery for our annual night of songs April 12-14, and 19-21! This year’s Cabaret theme will be “Brave, Bold, and Beautiful,” featuring female singer-songwriters who have inspired us.
Tickets are $40 and includes a meal and drink ticket. Reservations are required as tickets will not be sold at the door. Please call the Winery with details of your party so we can seat you together, or purchase tickets under one name.
Doors open at 7pm for Friday and Saturday performances and 5pm for Sunday performances. Meals are available when the doors open.
